Business Integration Technology creates integration solutions using our proven EME enterprise messaging engine. EME is available in two ways - as a fully-supported enterprise edition and as a free user-supported community edition.
EME Enterprise Edition is a fully-supported version of EME that provides a complete solution.
EME Community Edition is a complementary offering to BIT’s EME Enterprise Edition. The community edition lets architects evaluate EME for their enterprise without cost or obligation.
Both EME Enterprise Edition and EME Community Edition provide comprehensive technology to implement messaging solutions that include:
- Managed file transfer with trading partners and across the enterprise
- EDI and XML business-to-business document exchange with suppliers, customers, and service providers
- Web services integration
- A platform for service-oriented architecture
EME Administration
- Login - form-based login and group/role-based security for every feature/page
- Message Viewer - view raw message body and raw header properties for all audited messages; also download the raw message body
- JMS - upload a binary or text file to a JMS queue as well as set JMS properties on the JMS message, or view messages on a JMS queue
- Activity Monitor - view current memory consumption, and message counts per service; also configurable to probe raw TCP ports displaying status as up or down
- Event Log - filter events based on type; correlates messages to events so you can track which message caused which exception
- User Management - add new users, edit existing users, set group membership
EME Services
- Audit interceptor - stores message headers and/or raw message body
- BPI - stores configurable message identifier, correlates messages based on stored message identifier
- Custom Configuration builder that loads XML config files based on the order of an XML document
- Custom EME schema for every EME component; allows for easier configuration and design time misconfiguration warnings
EME Agents
- JMS - starts an embedded and network-accessible ActiveMQ JMS Server
- DB - starts an embedded and network-accessible Derby Database
- WEB - starts an embedded and network-accessible Web Server
- JMX - exposes all services via MX4J web interface
